Carl Cephas Martin married Mary Helen Smith, daughter of Charles Edgar Smith and Lucy Ann Meredith, 18 June 1952 in Gaffney, Cherokee County, South Carolina.
     Carl Cephas Martin died 11 May 1994 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.
