US Army Deaths and Liberated Prisoners of War, 2 October 1945

Washington, D. C., Oct. 2 -- The war department today made public a new list of army casualties and of personnel liberated from prison camps controled by the Japanese. The casualty list includes three from Chicago and vicinity. The next of kin have been kept informed of any changes in the status of casualties since this report was compiled, the war department said.
